Searching Guide & Helpful Hints

There are 5 ways to search JHBerge.com; enter:

  1. Keywords
  2. Manufacturers’ Part Numbers (click to lookup)
  3. J & H Berge Part Numbers
  4. LABMART Part Numbers (click to lookup)
  5. Competitors Part Numbers

 ...into the search box above!

Enter your search criteria into the text box located on the top right hand corner of the page and click “GO” to begin your search.

Our search will find any products descriptions which contain the exact phrase or text that you enter into the search box.

When using keywords: “Less is more, when you’re unsure!” If you are looking up a product using a keyword, use the most vague keyword first, such as “beaker” and you will see all our results for beaker. Check the box beneath the search entry field and you will now filter the previous search results through the new search inquiry. Enter something more specific now, such as “glass” and if you hit “Go” again you will now see results for “beaker + glass” and it should narrow down your options. You may continue to filter the results in this fashion.

When using Part Numbers: You must include the dash (‘-’) when typing in the part numbers. For example, type “xx-xxxx-xx” i.e. “41-8874-11” not “41887411”.

You can omit the suffix of the part number for more results. Many of our products come in multiple sizes or colors, so for types of searches like these you can search for all the available products in that family by omitting the suffix of the part number. For example, type “xx-xxxx” or “xx-xxxx-” i.e. “41-8874” will yield several variations of the same type of glove, whereas “41-8874-11” will yield a specific version of that glove. *Remember to include the dash in the prefix of the part number otherwise it will not return the correct results!

Useful Abbreviations:

In your search results, if there is more than one packaging quantity available a drop down menu will appear next to that product. The abbreviations for each packaging quantity are:

‘EA’- each

‘CS’-case

‘PK’-pack

‘BX’-box

‘CSE’- super-case

We use the following abbreviations in our product descriptions. You may use them to filter your keyword search results as explained above.

‘PP’ – Polypropylene or polypropene

‘PE’ – Polyethylene

‘PC’- Polycarbonate

Example: Search keyword “beaker”, review your results, then check the box that says “search within results” under the text entry field and type “PP” and hit “GO”. Your search should now display “beaker + PP” or polypropylene beakers.
